Meet our Doctors
Dr. James Mashni
Dr. James Mashni grew up in Mason, MI and went to undergrad at Michigan State Univeristy majoring in Human Biology and Nutrition. Like the other doctors at Mashni Dentistry he attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2012. Dr. James enjoys building relationships with his patients so that he can help them realize and achieve their health goals.
Dr. James is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. He prides himself on staying up to date with new technologies and materials through continuing education classes and self-study. His aim is to educate himself so that he can educate his patients to make informed decisions about their health and dental treatment.
While not working Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family and friends. You can find Dr. James at the MSU sporting events cheering the Spartans on. On nice days Dr. James enjoys golfing and enjoying the relaxing outdoors.
Dr. Jason Mashni
Dr. Jason Mashni grew up in Mason, MI and attended Michigan State University for undergrad. He attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated first in his class. Dr. Jason enjoys working with his father and brother and being able to practice in a caring and health focused environment. In practice Dr. Jason utilizes evidence based dentistry and stays informed on new techniques, materials and technology. He is passionate about life. That includes educating himself and his patients about increasing the quality of life.
Dr. Jason is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has a commitment to service and enjoys volunteering both locally and internationally.
In his free time he enjoys all kinds of physical activity including training for races, playing sports, and doing cross-functional training. Dr. Jason enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. He loves spending time with his wonderful loving family and friends. Dr. Jason also has a passion for music and the performing arts. Dr. Jason’s faith is the foundation of his beliefs, actions and thoughts in all he does.

I visited Dr. Mashni for my semiannual check-up. He has been my dentist for 30 years. He has done all kinds of work in my mouth, from removing and replacing old fillings, putting in crowns, and even replacing a severely damaged tooth with a dental implant. He is always patient, takes time to explain what he is doing, and always does a good job. Some of his work borders on artistry. I have a crown on a prominent front tooth. He has so exactly matched the color of that crown to surrounding teeth that it is impossible to tell that it is not my natural tooth. I would not hesitate to refer others to him. And I do not look forward to the day he retires. He's a GREAT dentist.
