An esthetic smile starts with a solid foundation.  By discussing your desires and obtaining individualized records and models we will be able to provide you with a cosmetic treatment plan that doesn’t effect the function and health of your teeth.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a conservative treatment to alter the size, shape, or shade of your teeth.  Veneers are a shell like porcelain/ceramic material that can be bonded to your tooth.  With veneers there only needs to be a small amount of preparation of your natural tooth structure.  After preparing the teeth we take an impression and send it to our master lab technician who fabricates your custom cosmetic veneers.   The following appointment will be to try in and cement the veneers. 

Dental Bonding

Bonding of composite (white filling) can serve to alter the shape, length and shade of your teeth to offer an esthetic and cosmetic result.  This alteration could be done to close a space that you don’t like, to fix a chipped tooth, or to lengthen a tooth.  Dental Bonding and Porcelain Veneers can be used in similar situations but the material of choice depends in individualized situations- we would love to help you decide on your best treatment. 

Zoom Whitening

Zoom Whitening is an in office procedure to whiten your teeth in about an hour and a half.  The results of this procedure occurs faster then the at home trays.  The procedure consists of placing a gel on the gum tissue to protect it.  Then the bleaching agent is placed on the teeth along with the Zoom light to stimulate the bleaching effect.   At Mashni Dentistry we include the fabrication of at home trays in the price of your Zoom Whitening so that you can maintain and improve the results seen in the initial in office bleaching.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening can be accomplished with an in office procedure (Zoom Whitening or at home.  To whiten your teeth at home it would require models of your teeth to be made in the office so that custom trays can be made that fit to your individual mouth.  The commitment at home typically involves wearing the trays with the bleaching gel for 1-2 hours a day for two weeks.  The results may vary for each individual depending on your current shade, anatomy, or dietary habits.  Also, teeth will tend to revert back to the original shade if bleaching is not revisited.  You may experience sensitivity or gum irritation with bleaching so we strongly advice consulting with a dentist prior to starting.   Teeth whitening is a simple way to lighten the shade of individual or all your teeth.  This procedure will not change the shade of any fillings or crowns that you may have- so that should be taken into considerations.
